Although they are also known as Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs, the 17 goals were formerly called post-2015 development agenda. Being in line with SDGs is also a part of the mission statement of HDAC Since, the council sees itself as including with the global responsibility for sustainability. In addition, the main focus is made on demonstrating how specific activities carried by HDAC help to meet such global goals that put the organization into focus as the promoter of sustainable practices in different fields. This alignment not only gives credibility of the firm but also will make it appealing to work with them especially to those who are interested in a firm making a positive change in the society. Through sustainability, the focus of HDAC shows that the programs and measures taken in the organization contribute to the present goals as much as to the long-term goals of humanity. What can be seen is that this approach supports the idea of the sustainability in scope and manner throughout the council’s recognition of achievements as well as fostering of initiatives. Thus, HDAC stays relevant in the modern world, which is gradually shifting to focus on sustainability; its mission directly connects with the SDGs, making the college’s work valuable globally.
